Chess Played Quick 960 Speedrun 2023: All The Information
Chess Played Quick is Chess.com's monthly series of events where top chess streamers complete bounties for prizes.
The 2023 Chess Played Quick 960 Speedrun edition takes place on May 29 at 9 a.m. Pacific/18:00 CEST. Streamers do a Chess960 speedrun to reach their highest rating and complete bounties for two hours. The event features 2000 Twitch/Kick subs as the prize fund.
Format
Streamers start with a new "beginner" account with an 800 Chess960 rating and do a speedrun in the 3+0 time control lasting two hours. Players earn points throughout the competition to claim their bounties. Streamers then get prizes according to the total points they gathered.
All games must be played using our Play server (not the Variants server). To do that, go to our Play Online page, click Custom, and select the Chess960 option from the dropdown menu above the time control options.
