The games begin on Thursday, April 4, 2024, for the FIDE Candidates Tournament and FIDE Women's Candidates Tournament! They are being held simultaneously in Toronto, Canada.

Predictions

Vote Chess
You can also win prizes by voting on individual game outcomes before every round of both tournaments. Before every round, simply go to each game on the FIDE Candidates and FIDE Women's Candidates events pages, find the Social tab, and pick your winner!
The top 10 finishers from each tournament (Candidates and Women's Candidates) all receive a prize, as follows:
- 1st: $250 Chessable course voucher
- 2nd: $200 Chessable course voucher
- 3rd: $100 Chessable course voucher
- 4th: One-year diamond membership
- 5th: One-year diamond membership
- 6th- 10th: One-month diamond membership
Community Tournaments
Join one of our special Community Candidates Arena Tournaments at 1 p.m. ET / 17:00 CEST / 10:30 p.m. IST. Enter by first signing up for the Chess.com Community Club here.
Community Arenas last two hours each and games are in the 3+0 time control. Arenas happen on the following dates:
- Monday, 8 April at 1 p.m. ET / 17:00 CEST / 10:30 p.m. IST
- Friday, 12 April at 1 p.m. ET / 17:00 CEST / 10:30 p.m. IST
- Tuesday, 16 April at 11 a.m. ET / 15:00 CEST / 8:30 p.m. IST
- Friday, 19 April at 1 p.m. ET / 17:00 CEST / 10:30 p.m. IST
And like the other contests, you can win prizes by playing in the arenas! The prizes are as follows:
- 1st: Caruana's, Nakamura's, or Nepomniachtchi's Chessable Course
- 2nd: six-month diamond membership
- 3rd: three-month diamond membership
- Best streamer: 15 subs
Candidates Schedule
