If you died tonight, and stood before God, the Almighty, the Creator of the Universe, and he asked you, "Why should I let you into heaven?", What would you say?

Unfortunately, too many people I ask this question respond with, "I've been a good person," or, "I'm not as bad as some have been," or, "I go to church," or even, "I'm a pastor".

These are all the wrong answer and are leading people to hell daily.

The right answer is that you shouldn't be let into heaven.

The right answer is that you're a sinner.

The right answer is that that's not the end of the story.

The Almighty Creator of the Universe isn't just just (meaning he always executes perfect justice), and he isn't just perfectly holy and righteous. Although he will not tolerate evil (because he is perfectly just), he's also good. And he loves sinners like you and me, despite every time we've spat in his face, every time we've committed even the smallest sin deserving of hell, and he loves us so much that he sent his only son, fully God, fully man, to die for his chosen on the cross. The Son's name is Jesus. Jesus took the punishment you and I deserved -- and he's calling you today to turn from your sin, confess it to him, and believe in him!

Christ is coming back. And it could be tomorrow. And on that day he will destroy all his enemies and lift up his beloved, and ultimately bring them back with him to heaven. I want you to be there! Turn to Christ today!

Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith."
