Berkshire Chess Association

The Berkshire Chess Association exists to promote chess to players of all strengths in the Berkshire area.

For 2019 - 2020:

* We promote the Berkshire and District Chess League which consists of four divisions catering for players of all strengths and ages plus two team knockout competitions;The Premier Precision Cup and The Mick Tarrant Jubilee Plate
* We recognise the Berks & Bucks Congress as awarding the Berkshire Individual Championship (The Cadogan Cup) to the highest placed bona fide Berkshire player.
* We enter Open, u150 and u125 teams in the Chiltern League
* We welcome newcomers and experienced players alike
* We can provide advice and coaching for those keen to learn and improve
* We play an active part in developing chess in the local area, establishing links with local schools and colleges
* We actively encourage junior players and those getting started
* We'd like you to join one of our clubs!
