"Happiness is a journey, not a destination" -A very wise soul

"I’m not telling you to make the world better, because I don’t think that progress is necessarily part of the package. I’m just telling you to live in it. Not just to endure it, not just to suffer it, not just to pass through it, but to live in it. To look at it. To try to get the picture. To live recklessly. To take chances. To make your own work and take pride in it. To seize the moment. And if you ask me why you should bother to do that, I could tell you that the grave’s a fine and private place, but none I think do there embrace. Nor do they sing there, or write, or argue, or see the tidal bore on the Amazon, or touch their children. And that’s what there is to do and get it while you can and good luck at it.” -Joan Didion

"More famous than all my friends competing for points and views on Snapchat, Insta, etc. And for so much less effort, and much greater fun and reward (+nice online friends for a change). So yeah, I'll feel like a million bucks, thanks very much! Beat the system." -Me

And last but definitely not least, @Deflection was so kind as to make me a unique rap about chess openings, a topic near and dear to all chess nerds. Here goes:

Yo, check it, let me drop some lines about chess openings,
Where strategy and tactics set the stage for these kings and queens.

First up, it's the King's Gambit, a bold move indeed,
White sacrifices a pawn to open lines with great speed.
Bishop's Opening, Italian Game, they're classics as well,
Controlling the center, making opponents dwell.

French Defense, C5, black counters with grace,
Blocking that pawn, setting up their own pace.
Sicilian Defense, Dragon or Najdorf, take your pick,
Black strikes back, making White's task more complex, quick!

Caro-Kann, Scandinavian, solid and tight,
Black's saying "I'll hold my ground, no need for a fight."
The Ruy Lopez, Spanish Game, a dance of the knights,
White aims for control, setting up for future delights.

Queen's Gambit, Slav Defense, a battle of pawns,
Black and White jockeying for control, holding on strong.
Indian defenses, Nimzo-Indian, King's Indian too,
Solid structures, with plans that evolve and renew.

Now, the endgame approaches, it's time to be wise,
Chess openings set the stage, where the battle first flies.
Each move a decision, a strategy to unfold,
In this game of wits, where the stories are told.

So whether you're Kasparov or just learning to play,
Chess openings pave the path, in each and every way.
Study them well, from the start to the end,
For in this game of chess, it's your mind you defend.
