King Chess World Premier

Monday night, 2/27/2023 our documentary film, King Chess, premiered in the heart of Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd. at the famous TLC Chinese Theatre. As a part of the Golden State Film Festival, a dream of a lifetime was accomplished to have the world's top chess players, legends and fans live on the big screen. Sure, there have been plenty of documentaries about chess but this one is special. We have the incredible pleasure to present to the world one of the most beautiful and unique moments in chess history, the 2018 Candidates Tournament and World Championship. 

After the film, Chess Dojo co-founder IM Kostya Kavutskiy said "All Chess Players need to see this film..." We talked about how this is the first film, where we all get to go behind the scenes of top level action. We will be posting a lot about the film and releasing some uncut interviews as supplements. Not to mention the fact that the 2018 Candidates is a special look into Ding's rise and playing his first ever Candidates Tournament! Look for all of the action on our King Chess Exclusive Club.
