ChessKid's 4th Annual Youth Speed Chess Championship!
ChessKid is kicking off the summer with its 4th annual Youth Speed Chess Championship event! Top young chess players from around the world will compete for a total prize fund of $5,000 starting June 10th.
The ChessKid Youth Speed Chess Championship (CKYSCC) features a series of one-on-one matches against some of the world's top youth players, similar to Chess.com's Speed Chess Championship and Junior Speed Chess Championship.
Last year, rising Turkish chess master Yagiz Erdogmus won the 2022 CKYSCC event at 11 years old!
He's well on his way to becoming one of the youngest grandmasters in history, after Abhimanyu Mishra, who holds the record at 12 years old.
