Happy New Year, ChessKids! We've had such an amazing year filled with incredible growth and success, with so many exciting events and collaborations. Recap the best of 2023 and look ahead to what's to come in 2024.

2023 Highlights

2023 kicked off with the grand final of the ChessKid European Team Festival—Team Turkey for the win! This was one of our largest events, with over 100 kids from 40 countries competing.

Continuing our efforts to support rising chess players, we've hosted several annual events, including the ChessKid Girls USA Championship, Youth Speed Chess Championship, and All-Star Finals.

We've also teamed up with older chess personalities and colleges to help promote chess of all ages. The first of the 'generation battles' started with the ChessKid Stars vs. Streamers series, including Fausti vs. GothamChess, expanding to Harvard vs. ChessKid.

As one of our goals, we continue to strive to grow the game of chess among young people, releasing many new chess resources and features, including infographics, the "Beginners' Guide to Chess" ebook, and new bots to help make learning the game more entertaining.
