My Most Insane Chess Game!

My Most Insane Chess Game!

Hi Chess Friends!

I recently played a bullet game that ended with one of the wildest positions I've ever had. I'll present it with a series of difficult puzzles and then show the whole game.

First, I went all in on a kingside attack, let my opponent promote and then thought I was forcing checkmate with Rg8+??

My goal was to reach this position, where I thought I had an unstoppable checkmate.

Here's the first defensive puzzle. Can you find the cleanest win for Black?

My opponent found a reasonable, but not quite the move, Q6b2+. After Kg3 he needed to find a brilliant combination to win the game.

My opponent missed the win and played Nf5+ instead. I captured the knight and then won on time. Even in the final position, Black has a miraculous path to hold a draw. Can you find it?

How often do you get to sacrifice queens on consecutive moves?

Here's the full game. Keep in mind we each only had one minute for the whole thing.

If you like this sort of defensive puzzle, you may want to check out my book on defense in chess or my Chess.com course on the same topic.

Thanks for reading!
