Hi chess friends,

I played a wild game today and thought a few of you might enjoy trying some of the tactics that occurred or could have come up.

The first critical moment occurred here. White threatens Qxh8+. What would you play?

Let's try a more resilient defense for White.

Here's my favorite defensive try for White. There's only one clear win for Black.

Here's the full game.

If you enjoyed this post, you might like my book on coming back from tough positions, The Next To Last Mistake.
