Pro Chess League: Southern California FTW
Many people want to make their way out to Southern California for the beaches, the celebrities, the weather, or even (as popularized by the Beach Boys) the California girls. 
But what people don't know is that the chess scene is also quite strong. 
There's the very metropolitan cities of Los Angeles and San Diego (only two hours away from each other) with the suburban Orange County right in between. There has to be a way for Southern California to get some mighty fierce Pro Chess League teams!
