Mastermind "Opening Repertoire: Max Lange Attack"
Dear Chess Friends!
I’m back. I finally fixed my Internet, so it means we can continue our webinars. There are a lot of topics to discuss and, of course, we will play a simul and a blitz practice as well, but later. This time I decided to focus on opening traps, not only the simple ones that work occasionally but openings where your opponent can equalize only in case he/she knows the theory well. We have already explored Evans Gambit one month ago and this Sunday I would like to demonstrate how to play Max Lange Attack with White pieces. I’m talking about this position, where White plays d4, and Black captures with the pawn or a minor piece.
The main concept of it is to sacrifice a pawn, obtain the initiative and provoke Black to make a small but decisive mistake. It can be your primary opening repertoire or you can use it only from time to time in blitz or rapid games.
This is what I’m going to explain on my mastermind “Opening Repertoire: Max Lange Attack”. And I’m glad to invite you there. The mastermind starts on Sunday (20th of November) at 11 a.m. (EST), 3 p.m. (GMT), 7 p.m. (Moscow time). Your participation is absolutely free, you just need to register here: https://chesslance.com/masterclass/
