Road to 2500 - Day 8 - 7 puzzles and 2 victories

Yesterday I started my training pretty late, but still went well. I solved 7 puzzles

from the  Woodpecker method book.

You can also study it on Chessable at https://www.chessable.com/the-woodpecker-method/course/10582/

You can solve the exercises and watch the games with my comments:

I created 4 exercises from the games:

In the first game my opponent played the Alekhine defense. I got space advantage. In 1 moment he could create a weak e5 pawn for me, but missed it abd when he wanted to counter-attack with f5, his e6 became weak and he lost it and the game too:

In the 2nd game my opponent played the french defense. I got a strong attack on the kingside and a winning position with huge time advantage. I did not find the win and my opponent started to attack only with seconds on his clock and nearly checkmated me, but then lost on time. I shouls improve about converting advantages to a victory:

So yesterday I won 17 points.

Starting rating: 2423
