I have no idea where or when I learned the game of chess. My father says that he never sat down and taught me, and I should remember being taught the game anyway. I do know that I must have learned the game at a very young age. Or, perhaps I'm the first example of an evolutionary step, and was born with the knowledge being intuitive. ;) Of course I don't really believe that, but I like to pretend. Currently experimenting with a variety of openings. Sometimes I enjoy paying the rare or unusual. Currently I'm a huge fan of the Catalan for white and the Sicilian for black. I would like to try the Danish Gambit for white and the Budapest Gambit for black at some point, and eventually explore the English.
