My name is Dylan. I am currently enrolled in University to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing to become a Registered Nurse. I've worked in healthcare for the better part of 6 years now. I am very active in the fitness scene and or gym scene. My preferred fitness activities include weight lifting, primarily deadlifting, bench-pressing, leg pressing, and squatting with weight. When I am not working, studying for exams, or working out in the gym, you may commonly find me playing chess, playing pool or billiards, and or playing the piano. Respectfully, unless I know you, you are on my friend list, or we've spoken in the past, I do not typically chat during live games. Daily yes!
I've been playing chess for a long time now and the highlight of my semi-professional career was playing Ding Liren twice on Chess24.com and beating him once in a simul. Then he beat me in a simul. I've had the opportunity to face many strong opponents and have met so many different players from around the world. Chess24.com is no longer an active site but I did find my game that I played against him at the time, several years ago. His account is Pedestrian, my account was OCCChessClub. I also found the video that I created, going over the game. Now, my playing strength was not perfect by any means, I made mistakes, some inaccuracies, but at the end of the day. A win is a win, even if the win was on time. It was a true honor to face him.
