Procedures:
For The Warning - Muting - Kicking or Banning Disruptive Members.

Policy: to be implemented in our "Acropolis of Discussion Main Club":
When you encounter members that display bad behavior and/or that break the Rules in our Acropolis of Discussion Main Club, then please utilize whichever of the following two procedures that are more appropriate to the situation at hand.
Of course in some situations, you might be using some discretion - and varying the procedures somewhat. But whatever procedure you choose - it should be documented in the appropriate forum topic in Acropolis of Discussion HQs Club.

Banned for posting this in the Live Chess chat room:

In Example 1 - MickeyMouse111 was warned and then later kicked.

In Example 2 - I immediately banned Alexander_A_Alekhine as soon as I saw the post.
The reason I did not give a warning - or just mute him temporarily -
was the combination of his post being obnoxious - plus he logged off.

Please note there are notations in both examples of what action was taken and the date. Such notations are essential.
There is also an option - sometimes - to send somebody a warning PM -
informing them that if they continue abusive postings then they will be likely banned the next time.

Admins can verbally warn a member and if the member continues their behavior, the Admin can "Mute" them if necessary and it MUST be documented in one of the two forum topics above. When doing so, you must document as follows:

- Name of member breaking the rules

- Date of incident

- Screenshot or copy/paste of the warn/why you warned/muted/kicked/banned member

There will be certain times where you do not warn someone and need to either Mute or Kick them. Again this needs screenshots or copy/pastes in the appropriate thread in our Acropolis of Discussion HQs Club. Banning is a last resort and will take place and be determined by the Super Admins only.

Muting is often better temporarily, but we normally only do so after 3 warnings.
However in an escalating situation - or in an emergency or something critical -
then you might be using your Kick button.
Including when there's no other Admin nor Super Admin to consult with. (The MUTE button will accomplish what you need though), at least until a Super Admin can review what happened and determine further what needs to be done.
There again though - you will need to document it in the appropriate thread in the Acropolis of Discussion HQs Club.

Note: When you "Kick" someone, they remain kicked out of the club until you allow them back in. It's similar to a ban, however, when we use a "BAN", it's final. "BANS" will be determined by the Super Admins ONLY.

Policy: Abuse of Acropolis of Discussion members and/or Super Admins and Admins are not to be tolerated. Immediate Admin action is to be taken if or when that happens.
