Founder of the Pickle Jar Chess Club! Designed to be a fun community for chess enthusiasts!
Notice: I may be inactive on the site from time to time this year because of the difficult classes I am taking, which include 4 AP classes... Wish me luck!
So another nosy person wants to know me...
Well here's a few things about me:
- I'm 50% British. You can't say beans on toast is bad until you've tried it!! Also, sausage rolls > hot dogs!
- I have played the euphonium in school band for 8 years now (it's basically a mini-tuba - look it up). This instrument is featured in this incredible piece by Gustav Holst - you won't regret listening to it!
- I am a passionate 'birder', or birdwatcher. I have encountered over 260 species in 5 countries now! While it's nearly impossible to choose a favorite, the Cerulean Warbler is one of my favorite birds I've seen. If you have a picture or recollection of a bird you would like to identify, send me a message!
- Following the topic of birds, I am also a big enthusiast of nature in general. I love to be outdoors and explore the variety of trees, plants, reptiles, insects, etc. I go on hikes about every week; the Adirondack Mountains are my favorite region.
Feel free to send a message if you have similar interests, or just want to talk!
A few rapid-fire Q-and-As
- Favorite color - Green
- Favorite Band/Music Creator - The Beatles! I also enjoy Weird Al Yankovic
- Favorite school subject - EVERYTHING! Well, except English when it's 11:00 pm and my unfinished essay is due at 11:59 pm
- Favorite sport: Football (The Real real one - the one with 2 goals and a spherical ball). I do also watch college American-football and college basketball
- Favorite Movie: Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, the 1st and 2nd trilogy of Star Wars. Back to the Future and the good old Indiana Jones are also good.
- tell me any other questions you would like me to add
Thanks for reading through everything! If you like my profile, send me a message and let me know. It makes me happy when people have read it! Also, I accept most friend requests.

Have you ever listened to the entirety of the 1812 Overture? The thing they play before fireworks at the 4th of July (you might not know what I mean if you're not American). Anyway, here it is: https://imslp.eu/files/imglnks/euimg/9/92/IMSLP708938-PMLP3587-03_Tchaikovsky_1812_overture_.mp3. It's actually really interesting - lots of emotion and symbolism

Here's a secret - there's a dark green period hidden somewhere above. Can you find it?

This section is for dill-lightful pickle puns. I hope you don't find them too jarring. Sit back and relish them.
Did you know Costco sells pickles $1 per gallon? It's a pretty sweet dill if you ask me.
Do you know why pickle jars are always open? Because they're ajar.
The pickles really enjoyed their vacation. They stayed at a tro-pickle resort.
If you hear the pickles giggling when you touch them, it's because they're pickle-ish.
