Scandinavian 1.e4 d5

No new members being accepted at this time. 

Our club has players from all over the world. We promote the Scandinavian Defense (Center Counter Defense)

and study and learn about it through our Forum topics, Vote Chess games and  Daily Match chess.  We are also experimenting with Live Chess Arena Tournaments using 1.e4 d5.

Join our Club because we give you the richest and best Scandinavian Defense experience!

We expect you to participate in our activities. Immediately after you enter the Club, carefully read our Club Orientation.

Entering the Club means you passed Checkpoint 1. You will need to pass Checkpoint 2 to get a 6-month tryout to see if you fit in according to our criteria -- which are easy to meet. 

If you don't take the time to read the orientation, you might find yourself removed from the Club within a week!

If you were kicked out of the Club for failing to complete the orientation, you will have to wait till the first day of the new calendar year to join again. Pestering the Admins to join before that time could get you banned from the Club permanently. 

Be aware that we also remove inactive players, and players with closed accounts, from the Club approximately every six months. 

To club administrators who want to challenge us:

1. We play all of our games on a quarterly basis (January, April, July, October)

2. We only accept challenges that have the moves 1.e4 d5 in the game score.

3. We like match offers limited to the following rating groups: 0 to 999; 1000 to 1399; 1400 to 1699; 1700 to 1999; 2000+
