My DNA map (father's lineage), excluding the USA. Another line, not shown, leads back from the USA to England to Brittany/Normandy to Rome (Patricius Flavius, circa 300 A.D.). Then things get really confusing, but at various times, I found ancestors in Israel, Afghanistan, and Egypt. A couple of my male, Breton ancestors also married Irish and Welsh women. My mother's side leads to Switzerland, but I haven't worked that side out beyond about 1500.
