Getting Accused Of Cheating

why is he accusing you?

It's like me beating every single one in my school and all of them accusing me of cheating (they are like less than 1000 USCF and I'm 2050)

Being accused of cheating is a compliment.

It's happened to me twice - in one case chummy wrote "reported". Either that individual did not go through with it, or it was found to be without merit, because I heard nothing further.

I see it as a compliment, though unintentional - the accuser is basically saying you played as well as Stockfish.

Your game is full of inaccuracies from both sides, any report filed for this game would never see human eyes since they have a cheat detection algorithm that will just filter the game out. Your opponent is a dunce who's both horrible at chess and lacks critical thinking ability, every person in the chat recognizes this. Nothing more needs to be said, just block the dunce and move on with your life. Meanwhile I'm sure he will continue sucking at chess and blaming others for it but it's not your problem.

I remember one game an opponent was accusing me of cheating. It was an endgame, he couldn't really move anywhere without my pawn promoting so I had time to walk my king to other side of the board, he was convinced this was impossible for a human to figure out. After some debate in the game chat I challenged him to look at the game accuracy, he was convinced it would be 98%. It was like 75% accuracy... we both played horribly. He was silent after that. Anyway, it's just typical online duncery, some people don't seem to be capable of processing the reality that they've lost a game.

I don't deserve life. Nobody likes me

The game is very suspicious. It's like two beginners are playing, and black is 1950 rated.

i do report people when their rapid is 600 elo above the other 2 modes. i play bullet and blitz and instantly notice when one has way more rapid elo, no chance of winning there. its a problem with the matchmaking algorithm tho.

basketstorm

For most players rapid rating is the highest. 200-300 difference with Blitz-Bullet is typical but could be more, not necessarily a sign of cheating.

you are totally right. i blame the algorithm, cos lets be real here, as said, i instantly notice when someone is actually way better, it feels like playing against a bot. maybe they should average all elos, w/e, not my problem, this just drains the fun out of me. its like playing a bot.... i hope i at least waste some admins time to check the reports.

I do not like playing blitz or bullet. It doesn't really feel like real chess to me anymore

I don’t play blitz or bullet because I worry if I use any sort of tactics whatsoever I’ll lose on time

As chess games are normally at least 50 moves

basketstorm

Many advanced chess players enjoy 5 or even 3 min Blitz. There's nothing wrong with that. Rapid isn't too "classical" either, popular 10 minute control is not a huge slow-down compared to 5 min.

There's no requirement to have at least 50 moves: in Blitz it's ok to resign earlier than usual, because often you know beforehand that you're going to lose. But you can also use the time as weapon, that's a different side of the game, not to everyone's liking I guess. You don't have to. I think if an opponent puts you into a situation where you have to think a lot, he is good, he deserves the time advantage he is getting.

I am a beginner player, but only 25 out of 140 winning Blitz games I won by timeout, the rest is: 25 abandonments, 60 checkmates, 30 resignations. So I can't say I'm winning thanks to the timeouts.

With Bullet it's crazy though. 30 sec hyper, I am winning ONLY thanks to being faster than my opponents.
