If it was paid, ofcourse without doubt ChessBase, I may use it in future but not for now. I am very new to the engine stuff coz earlier I did only tactics lol.

Which is the best GUI for running Stockfish 13, ofcourse please recommend only the GUIs which are safe and really good. Thanks

The best GUI is subjective based on user friendliness and aesthetic. . No GUI will run your engine faster. Popular GUI are

1. Scid PC ( free)

2. Arena ( free)

3.Fritz( commercial)

Scid can be an option........Although i would say that chessbase is the best to do this kind of stuff.........i currently use cb 15 and have prepared many many openings using engines(today i used stockfish 13 earlier 12)........i even analyzed some brilliant kasparov games using it and saved it in an db....chessbase might be slightly expensive though worth the money

ok

BanksiaGUI is another one to consider. Personally I would recommend Scid vs PC. Both are free of charge.

if you have membership on chess.com you do not need any software (personal opinion)

Masked_Titan3000

Lol I brought the stockfish 9UE version in paid lo

I don't use ChessBase a lot, u can use opening tree, lichess, or even chess.com for detailed analysis. I brought the stockfish paid version for a month and its legit. You should try it too!

nope, I see the engine on chess.com is extremely slow and is not recommended for prep, it is a good tool for analysis IMO

YEAH, it's better to use a site just built for prep and analysis.

If you are below 1200 fide I do not prefer you to use fritz because in the period of time you are it is preferred to focus on analyzing yourself and no much opening preparation is needed.

Arena is good and it's free. Shredder is good too but that costs EUR30 (Shredder Classic 5). I have Fritz but rarely use it since I have the others. Banksia gets good reviews but I hven't really studied it.

But for you, I can't believe I'm the first to recommend LucasChess. Not only is it free and comes with Stockfish, LC0 and Komodo 12 already installed but it has loads of training and teaching tools. It also has engines tailored to every skill level. It will really suit you much more than just a plain GUI with an engine.

Downloaded and installed, but how do I run the engine on it and also how do I analyze stuff, if you could give me some detailed reference, it will be great!

Open a Chess board window > click create UCI engine > select the desired engine installation file > done happy.png

ChessX is worth a look. Free, open-source, more modern interface than SCID. Supports any UCI engine.
