The first video is a short introduction of Chessconnect and can be found here.
Liked and subscribed. These videos are VERY helpful as I've learned lately with getting the feature into a Millennium Phoenix.

Sorry to bother again but I cant get it to work.
If I click on connect i have the options to connect to COM4 (RNI-SSP) and COM5 bluetooth peripheral device.
On both options I get failed to execute open on 'serialport' port in debugger mode.
Later I get failed to execute open on serialport: A call to open is already in progress. Again, it worked for 2-3 turns. It is stuck on connecting 3/3
Any suggestions? The board light is green meaning it is connected.
@TheHakushu: Let's get the most likely problems out of the way first:
If these criteria are met: can you please send me a console log as described here?

DGT software is off. I can find my board with bluetooth. I can connect to it (i get the bluetooth connection key). It then connects succesfully, however immediately jump back to "paired" instead of "connected" in the bluetooth settings. However, once I do these steps, the Chessconnect finds the two ports (before setting up bluetooth connection it does not). Also the light of the DGT board turns and stays green (which should mean the board is connected succesfully) I do wonder if it is related, since the board immediately jumps off connected and shows "paired" together with other paired devices in bluetooth settings
@MJWeisman: Unfortunately, Square Off is refusing my proposals for cooperation. I got some technical information from Graham (as in Grama's Driver). But having to rely on others for the testing is tedious. And there are other pressing matters like for instance a full iOS and Android version. But maybe you can write to Square Off and tell them that having a Chessconnect integration would benefit them?

Seriously? Do they have something better that they’ve been sitting on? Wow…
First of all this extension is amazing.
Has anyone gotten the DGT 3000 chess clock to display the time remaining in the game? So far, I'm
- connecting DGT 3000 clock to the DGT e-board
- connecting e-board via USB
The DGT3000 clock seems to be connected properly because it shows things like the most recent move, and also when the game is lost or won. But I was hoping to see the time remaining.
I also tried on lichess and it seems like it also just shows moves—not time remaining.
For Android, have you seen the chessnut android app in Google store? It resembles the evo app and seems to be really good. It can be used in Lichess, Chess.com, chesskid and chessable (the last 2 I haven't tried yet). It also has stockfish, Maia and LC0 engines
In order to save you work I would question whether it is worth going through a lot of development work when a good solution already exists.
Oh I forgot that android app will be needed for non Chessnut boards. However, I would encourage chessnut users to check it out.
Does anyone use this plugin on Linux? My distro is Arch Linux, and I'm using the Chrome browser. I have a USB Bluetooth adapter.
It works correctly, but every time I start a game, it takes a long time to detect the e-board. Many times, the timer runs out before I can make my first move.
Any advice? Thanks.
I'm using chessconnect beta on ubuntu (24.04.1) with chrome, the only drawback is that under the /play URLs of the website I need to reconnect the board (you can read my description of the problem from page 51 on in this thread). When I start a game it works flawlessly.
I assume you made all the required chrome bluetooth settings mentioned on the chessconnect page?

Chessconect's developer said in his youtube video that recconection is due to new tab. If new tab is opened, it should be paired again.
I have made a new video: Troubleshooting connection and move problems
P.S.: Something strange is going on in the chess world. Despite Chessconnect being pretty solid for quite some time now, support requests have gone through the roof lately.
I'm not surprised, playing online through a physical set beats looking at a monitor while diddling your mouse.

The latest beta v4.5.0 works a treat with the Pegasus and the Tabutronic. Great work, as usual. Kudos to you !!!!!
The House of Staunton just released a sensory board version with LEDs. It looks super cool.

DGT bluetooth with PC should be working nicely. Please make sure that the original DGT software is _not_ running.
