Identifying Drueke Chess Sets (and Boards)
It says 49507
I am hoping it is an old Dreuke board.
So ZIP CODE 49507 whereas it is 49504 on those old labels above in thread.
Can you see the light cross of mismatched squares or post construction fading?
any zip code history buffs?
UPDATE: found this:
So this board is a Drueke Blue Chip Game Company Board...
So any other stories?

That's a nice board. How old is it?
It seems to have help up well with time and no disjoints.
Thank you it is no older than 1971. Yes no disjoints, just spots and stuff.
It was quite a gift when I purchased it just recently second hand.
It has one great side, but that one freaky light square that should have been dark.
One side is showing sun/age wear but I've not asked if it's best to oil it.
Below was info seller was kind enough and proud enough to share. ("the big one" is this one)
the original sticker...
"49507" hence post 1971 after the split up of the brothers...
A mysterious Drueke model. I first saw that set in a 2002 US Chess Federation catalog, selling for $30 at the time. I have only seen a few sets since.
