Received a Chessnut Air for Christmas. Do account restrictions still occur if I use it here?

I am getting ready to restart my chess journey and while looking up how to get everything connected I ran into some people who said they had account restrictions placed on their account when they used the Air to play. Is that still a thing?

There are a lot of forum posts mentioning the Chessnut Air.

I only saw one which mentioned restrictions:

i saw references to this thread:

I can't use Chessconnect since I am playing on an iPad.

I went through a bunch of those and the best I can get is maybe they fixed it.

Guess I'll just do it and see what happens.

Can you not use Google Chrome on the iPad ?  JRF2k if not need to down load chessnuts app . mind you still need to do this then via the app , log in into chess.com etc , It's very easy wink But you can not beat the Chessconnect app as it's the best for chessnut stuff / make life very easy for eboards .

Doesn't look like there is a way to get extensions via Chrome on Ipad due to Apple's security measures it has in place, @lighthouse.

I did manage to get it connected to Chess.com and Lichess.org, so I guess everything is fine.
