What is the best chess wood chess piece material?

I see many different breeds wood to make chess piece,i want know what is the best wood make chess piece.I hope my chess piece has beautiful color,oily,cost-effective,and durable in the wet environment.I need some advice.

Hornbean that would be one to check out. I read it’s good for turning and tough.
I think Poland uses it for chess box wood also.

I don't speak English very well, I used a translator,so I made a mistake.In humid environment, I live in an region where the air humidity is around 80%.I'm more worried about mold and discoloration of the wood
