If you want to get better you can give this a try, only for serious chess players who wants to put in effort. I believe its good for people who are rated 800-1900. Also, I don't take people who have less than 500 games on chess.com. I don't want to waste time on someone who rarely plays chess.
MUST HAVE DISCORD or ZOOM.
SPOTS OPEN: 3
DM me for lesson. Usual time for Lesson would be between 9 AM - 11 AM Mountain time. I find in afternoon generally people don't grasp much.
Teaching method?
-> All the material comes from your games. I analyze game, I give you about 8-10 simple rule, you apply them in any position I ask and you tell me the answer on which move makes more sense. Fast and simple way to quickly eliminate weakness in your play.
-> Some moves are fine to play, but ones I feel uncomfortable with, I will let you know and why I think I wouldn't play it. But I won't deny you from playing them. Its your game and its your playstyle.
What will you learn?
-> Deeper understanding on positional concepts
-> Piece placement, when/what to trade. Also Why you want to trade certain pieces. You will be able to answer this easily.
-> Restricting enemy forces, Gaining space advantage and Eliminate counterplay.
-> Practical end game of your games and You will be able to create your own middle game plan or idea.
End result after 5 lessons?
-> Firm knowledge of evaluation of position.
-> Eliminating random moves because now you will move with a purpose.
-> Consistency in your result and about 1-2 critical position per game rather than 5+, that cause you to blunder or require long time for calculation.
-> Deeper end game knowledge, without studying some deep stuff like Rook end games etc, and still do fairly well.
Things you won't learn from me
-> Basic calculation (2-3 move calculation)
-> Opening (There are much better sources for these youtube / chessable and books)
-> Theoretical end games
There are 3 spots once its full I am done. Thread closed!!
