Feedback from my students

The coach is very special and his lessons are different from GM, IM, WGM, FM lessons I've had before. He is not filling the lessons with only theory but makes you think very deeply and understand this game of chess. At first I thought this is a waste of time but now I can see I play alot better when I take the time. He cares alot for the student and sent useful tips after the lessons also. This takes alot of his time but he doesn't care as long as the student makes progress. I would recommend the coach and YOU should try it out and see if the coach is something for you!

I've had two teachers from Jamaica, both of whom were subpar, in my opinion. One of them just held Jeremy Silman's "How to Reassess Your Chess" up to the camera and asked me to solve problems I could do myself. I learned nothing from him. Is this one of your teaching methods? If so, I'll pass. If not, I may be interested. I considered buying ten lessons at a time and then reassessing if I wanted to continue. I'm retired so that I can devote time to my homework. I need encouragement and a training plan that you will review with me to ensure I'm digesting the material. And the more encouragement I get, the more I like the lessons. Finally, I'd like to prepare for the Denver Open next May. Thank you for considering me.

Looks good.

I just received this message from my student:

Dualeco

^ That was me!

Couldn't imagine a smoother experience for my level and my expectations were outperformed.

At first I was nervous if taking a coach was a reasonable investment (I studied everything myself before).

But taking lessons gave me an immediate boost in performance. Having someone who can give some good advice surely makes charms.

Dino is a patient and encouraging teacher. I highly recommend him. One-hour lessons feel like only 5 minutes. The time flies by. He corrects the flaws in my thinking and encourages me to find better alternative moves. Memorizing his algorithms has helped a great deal. I no longer freeze when I face a good move by my opponent. I'm blundering less and improving with practice. Thank you, Dino!

is this an ad to promote oneself ?????? is the point to get paying students ? to sign up and pay really ? guess it's ok ? seems to be a good teacher from the recommendations but then again is that what this forum is for??? maybe so -- everyone here seems to be selling something -- so i guess all the power to you if you can monetize a hobby or passion- as long as you are honest good luck to you

Good

Man I have tried teaching before and learned quickly I’m not very good at it. Takes more than being good at something to be good at teaching it apparently

What specifically didn't go well? Was it the curriculum, your delivery, or did you just lack enthusiasm? And what makes you think teaching requires some sort of mystical ability beyond being knowledgeable about the subject?

I've taken two classes with ChessMasteryOfficial, and the improvement in my game is noticeable. His algorithmic approach has significantly enhanced my thinking process, allowing me to anticipate moves more strategically.
On my bad day i m still making blunders, but they have reduced drastically.
One of his key pieces of advice was to transition from 10-minute games to longer formats, which has been a game-changer for me. Also reducing the number of games from many to few has helped.
The extra time has helped me develop deeper strategies and make more thoughtful moves. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to elevate their chess skills.
