Looking for an English speaking Chess coach
I’m considering looking for a Chess coach.
My name is Martyn and I’m 34 years old and from UK. I’ve Been playing chess all my life, but only competitively for short periods. Once around 10 years ago, and then again when I picked it back up in early 2024…. Although I’ve ALWAYS played online!
I’ve currently peaked at 1,840 Rapid here on Chess.com (but currently dropped around 80 points), but I’d really love to reach 2,000+ consistently one day.
I play OTB in the UK, and feel a skill level around this on chess.com would also translate into allowing me to play in some of the mid level live tournaments which would be great.
I have an OTB tournament coming up this weekend, so some prep for that would also be useful!
If you’re an English speaking coach who feels they could help me towards my goals then please feel free to pop me a message. I’d love to hear from you!
Martyn
I could give you some tips, but not actual coaching. Well, maybe, idk.
