Training against bots

Hi all, while I often play against the bots (no problem when the kids interrupt me) and I noted that my results are not completely linked to the bot assessed elo rating. To give an example, I think I win 75% to 80% of the matches against Antonio (elo 1500), but I win around 50% of the matches against David (elo 1400). I think that this is due to the programmed "style" of the bot, but I do not know how to translate this into my "area of improvement". Any suggestion?

Low rated bots have to play weird and unrealistic bad moves. So it is not to be recommended to train against them. But they are fine for a game now and then.

After playing against a bot, look up a few games played by masters who excel against that style. Study their approach and try to incorporate similar ideas in your play.

The David bot starts out with silly opening moves like a3 but later on plays tenacious defense.
