chess mentor ratings

I have recently picked up chess again after an absence of many years.  I never had an 'official' rating and so I don't know my rating.  What do the 'ratings' in Chess Mentor mean?

To be honest, I do not think much.

I am currently 2213 on Chessmentor and about 1850 in real life OTB.

That being said, I believe it to be a valuable resource.

You can't pay much attention to the ratings here.  However, the Chess Mentor as well as the Tactics Trainer here are excellent.  Learn as much as you can from them and practice what you learn.

Thanks for the reply!  I suspected as much.  The Chess Mentor program has been putting me through my paces and I have been making steady progress so far (1000 to 2000 in about 3 weeks).  A great program.
