Are there any lessons or courses on chess mentor that analyze a whole game instead of just a small part of the game? I feel like I need help starting from move 1

You might try a few of the beginner videos to get a feel for the entire game.

At this time we do not have Chess Mentor courses which go through a whole game from beginning to end move by move. I would recommend that you check out the Daily Columns at http://www.chess.com/daily-columns.html for content like this.

However, there are a few Chess Mentor courses which go through some real game positions:

The two World Champions courses by IM Jeremy Silman go through some real game positions.

Also, take a look at the Deep Blue vs Kasparov course for analysis from real game positions.
