When I first signed up at Chess.com I got the diamond membership since I wanted to see what all the options were like. Due to the downturn in the economy and my part-time business, I decided after the first month to save a bit of money and switch to gold. I have Chessimo and work with that daily and for certain things it is good, but I realized after awhile that my overall learning was not progressing as fast as when I was previously using Chessmentor every day.
Yesterday, I upgraded back to Diamond, and even in one day of playing with Chess mentor I have learned a few new things. Well worth the few dollars extra....
