sequential or adaptive? and other q's?

I have only recently started to use chessmentor, i have got through dem001 to dem019 so far. I am using chess mentor in sequential mode, but im not sure whether im getting the best out of it or not.

How many demo lessons are there?

once the demo lessons are over, does chess mentor work from the easiest to the hardest lessons in order, or does it go through courses one at a time or? i just a bit confused.

Should i be just choosing a course and working my way through it, or being patient and working through it the way i am?

my OTB rating is around 2000 and my online rating is 1900ish, my tactics trainer rasting is 2100 and im 1800 ish after 19 mentor lessons (just to give you an idea where im at standard wise).

Any other chess mentor tips would be appreciated!

cheers, si crowley (gumpty)

Adaptive chooses problems within a range of your chess mentor rating, so it tends to provide a variety from one lesson to the next based on rating. There's no reason why you couldn't stick it in sequential and play through something like GM Davies' Colle-Zukertort module or some of the other openings or endgame studies, etc.

That's the beauty of chess mentor. You can use it to target a certain area to work on or you can set it to focus specificially on a certain kind of situation.
