Streamer/Youtuber Offers Chess Lessons
I've started taking lessons with Coach Kestony a only three weeks ago, after getting recommendations for him from various sides, and I'm really glad to have followed the advice. I came rather late to chess, a couple of months ago, and already well into my retirement (which is a perfect time in life to start chess, I've got all the time I want to practise :-) ), and was a bit reluctant to get coaching, as coaches might be more interested in younger students with their infinite learning abilities and the ambition to get a GM title, or stronger, more interesting players, but I can happily confirm that Kestony does a perfect job with people like me as well, the lessons are challenging but always super satisfying - I always feel that new pieces are clicking into place - and the studies based on his recommendations and homework in between lessons are just as illuminating. Before, my moves were more a bit of trial-and-error (mostly error), and now I can see (at times) which ones make sense and which ones really, really don't. If chess is a huge dark castle and I'm in the entry hall, stumbling about in the dark, Coach Kestony has just handed me some matches. In a couple of weeks, and with his support, I'm confident, it'll be a flashlight.
Hey guys what's up? I have seen this website in Spanish that seems very interesting to study chess books in chessbase format:
what do you think?

Pls watch the video. It is just about the past chess games. I'll share puzzles daily from tomorrow. I'll showcase grandmaster games and lessons from Sep 10.
Kestony is a great coach - he always helps with relevant concepts and topics and makes the lesson fun and informative. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their chess game!
I have been working with Kestony for about two months and I highly recommend him. I started with an 800 rating and am currently over 1050. His lessons are useful and fun. Every single match I play, at least one thing he taught me comes up. I’ve definitely become a more skilled and confident chess player in what’s really a very short time period.
I hired coach Kestony so I could improve. I was stuck in the 1300’s and with his help I broke 1400. He has found weaknesses of mine I didn’t know existed and is teaching me concepts I have trouble learning on my own due to a lack of good sources. He is a very good coach and I have seen many improvements.
I look forward to every lesson with Coach Kestony. He is a gifted teacher who conveys ideas clearly & in a fun way. With his help my game is improving in leaps & bounds. I can’t recommend Coach Kestony highly enough.
Our 7 year old son has had multiple lessons with Kestony. We are impressed by how he managed to have our son fully engaged during the one hour lessons. He has gradually gained more experiences and knowledge with Kestony’s coaching and subsequently won some local competitions within his age group. Most thankfully is that our son has developed enthusiasm about playing chess. So we can’t highly recommend Kestony enough!
I've worked with Coach Kestony for several weeks now and I can already sense a dramatic shift in the way I play and see the game. I've enjoyed our lessons tremendously and am challenged in a new way each time we meet. I'm not a super highly rated player but I've been winning the vast majority of my games in the rating range I play against and have been moving steadily upward. I can tell that my understanding of chess principles and ability to visualize tactical manuevers has increased in just a short time. This is more than enough to convince me I am on the right track. I do not consider myself a true student of chess, I probably never will be, but I am a student of life and have dedicated myself to learning and coming as close as I can to mastering a variety of new things in different areas. Chess has been a fun but extremely challenging endeavor. I feel like I am in very good hands with Coach Kestony. For anybody looking for a chess coach, I highly recommend this man. He's also a very engaging person and my lessons are always immensely entertaining. Really, really glad I met this guy.
what the hell do you mean you've played 2 games???
Edit: I got blocked for pointing out how this review makes no sense lmao
Update: After working with Coach Kestony my chess has rapidly improved once again since I hit my plateau. I broke through 1400 and rose really quickly and easily to 1700 (easier than going from 1200 to 1400) where I am stuck now but not nearly as badly as before and Coach Kestony is helping me break through 1700 now. He has helped me a lot in my chess progress and knowledge of the game.
He's an amazing coach who has helped me reach 1900 in less than a year. Everything he teaches me during the lesson is immediately used. I can feel the shift in the ideas that I can come up with. You should definitely try him out.
