All world Champions had hair the scientific connection

I also notice a lot of square faces along with thick hair on head despite the GM entering their 40s and fifties. Might have to do with their neurology and hormones. Also I notice thick jaws.

I like de female GM better wink  so much hair .

DreamscapeHorizons

Out of those 24 players only 3 or 4 are GMs.

Oh my god. I am so happy I'm not the only one who have noticed this. All the top chess players have GREAT hair, way into their 30's. Being a baldie, I was legit afraid that I wouldn't be able to learn how to play chess because of my lack of hair. I believe there may be something to it. Hormones play a role in male baldness. Hormones interfere with our cognitive abilities. Mastering chess, I assume, requires perfect concentration. So maybe that's why there are no female world champions and no baldies either. Or maybe the whole chess culture is just biased against women and baldies. Yeah... my feelings prefer that explanation. What were we talking about?

Matthew Saddler could have gone all the way to become World Champion IMO, but then lost his hair and had to change careers. He is playing again now though I believe and doing very well, bravely facing up to life without much hair.

To compete at the highest level, you need hair like Hans Niemann. In fact, other players became suspicious that he was actually wearing a wig - which resulted in the now infamous cheating allegations.

What about Tal ? He is the counter example.

No Tal in his prime had hair then illness overtook him.

Both Kasparov and Fischer went bald.

True notice they did not play after going bald or in Kasparov's case lose some of his chess strength.

I believe I have found the connection.

All World Chess Champions (so far) are mammals. Mammals have hair.

QED.

As a guy who loses hair, I totally understand your concerns about the connection between chess champions and hair. But I don't think we should give up on our chess dreams just because we don't have luscious locks!

Ilampozhil25

shouldnt they all be world champions because they have the most hair
