Magnus Carlsen just confirmed that he will leave the World Championship rapid and blitz, after being suspended (first fined, then suspended for a round) for wearing jeans, in violation of the championship dress code. In a post-interview with Norwegian TV network NRK, he seemed somewhat dejected and "fed up with FIDE".
