Daughter of Local Chess Club Chairman Murdered

Found this announcement on the Israel Chess Federation website. A young woman named Shani Kuperverser was killed in the Hamas attacks in Israel on October 7. At just 28 years old, she was killed while attending a nature party with her boyfriend. She was the daughter of the Chairman of the Haifa and Neighborhoods Club, Nathan Kuperverser. After a week missing, her body was identified and her family was finally able to be informed.

@moredchaikarlin, I appreciate your sentiment, but political discussion of any kind is against the Community Policy on chess.com. If you (or anyone else) posts political comments, then chess.com moderators will lock this thread. I don’t think that would honor the memory of Shani Kuperverser.
