Yeah, but that's out of my control. All I can do is just spread awareness about it and see if anyone has anything to say about it.
In case you haven't heard by now, FIDE rating deflation has been an ongoing issue for some time now. Currently, FIDE seeks public discussion about proposed rating changes. Pretty much, it has been proposed that FIDE ratings are increased for those below 2000 FIDE and that this can range from +400 for those at 1000 FIDE to 0 for those at 2000 FIDE (although I think this upper limit should be extended to 2200 FIDE)
Personally, as someone who lost a lot of FIDE classical points to underrated players with huge gaps between their national and FIDE ratings over the last 2-3 years, this is something I can get on board with.
