In this scenario, I am Black not White. That is why it is called "Agent's Defense" and not, "Agent's Variation."
A new opening- "King's Pawn Opening:MacLeod Attack, Agent's Defense."
It seems much less like a legitimate opening though, and more like an example of how black can punish white for poorly playing the MacLeod Attack, as Black in this is playing quite accurately but white is playing quite poorly. Though it would be good to play if you ever get in such a situation as black
I use it. I like how this defense blocks some development and takes advantage of the Macleod's weak spot by placing black's queen on d5. But there are certainly some weaknesses... this defense allows a knight attack. Otherwise, it's great!
If you see a problem with my opening, please let me know!
