Bad move by Computer (Bot at 2000)

  4. c3   Nf6
  5. d4  exd4
  6. cxd4 Bb4+
  7. Nc3  d5  ???                Open form Giuco Piano. Why does the Computer (Bot at level 2000) play such a bad move against me (as wxhite) instead of the more usual Nxe4 ?

Because to be only 2000 it have to make some bad moves.
