Conquistador, having gone this far I think you should go the final mile and write a book on the Bongcloud. A gap in the openings book market just begging to be filled
How about variations of Lil (Baby) Bongcloud 1.e3 e5 2.Ke2 ; Hammerschlag 1.f3 e5 2.Kf2 and Big Hammerschlag 1.f4 d5 2.Kf2 !?
Ah, here were the ones I have been meaning to post earlier.

NOTE:This Bongcloud variation was popularized in Rome around 1152. Hence, the translation is literally "North Korean Ice Cream" (from Latin), although it truly means "All Hail Rome as the Capital of the World".
More bongcloud variations to come!
here i used it in this game (but the guy got discd and timed out)
would i hav won? +any tips on BC strategies?
Nonsense! If black checkmates he loses the game.
It is all about getting the king to the other side man. White's king has superior position over black's. +-
Are ya kidding me?!, White, when you use this opening, means you automatically loses the game. I don't know where the place in hell you'll gonna use this opening when you're White. I strongly recommended that you will NOT use this opening. Strongly recommended!. LOL
Okay, I don't have powerful engines but I just analyzed Bongcloud with Sigma at maximal strength and 10 plies. The standard Bongcloud 1.e2 e4 2.Qd2 is estimated at -0.89 for white, almost losing a pawn. The main line is 2...Bc5 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. d3 d5 5.exd5 Nxd5 :
Good news! It's estimated at only -0.67 for white. For me, the main question in Bongcloud is whether white can survive after that terrible blunder or penalty. I recall that in old games Bongcloud appeared sometimes as the penalty on the 2nd move when a player touches accidentally a piece that can not move!
It seems that the answer is positive for Bongcloud fans, white are able to recover slowly.
Here is a list of Variations within the Bongcloud System. Feel free to lay claim to a variation if it has not already been taken. The L is for Lenny Bongcloud.
