Nxf7 is not the best move. d4! is a good preparatory move for the sac.
Ke6 is Black's best move because he just loses a pawn otherwise. White gets a big attack for his piece, but the sac isn't entirely sound in itself. Here is a game that uses my line in the Fried LIver.
Very nice game KillaBeez. I played the white side of this a few times against some average club players and scored well with some quick wins. Most of them played 5...Nxd5.
5...Nxd5 is not a good move for black , 3 moves are all better : Na5,Nd4 and b5, as for 6 Nxf7 not being "sound" my chess assistant says it scores 81% !! How is that not sound? Ok, 6 d4 scores 83% !! And even 6 Qf3 scores 70 % !! What more do you want as white?

You are right graw, 5...Nxd5 is simply bad for black and scores under 30% but the other 3 moves I mentioned all score better than 50% for black.

Nxd5 is incorrect i agree but time is the factor that should be taken into account it is hard to think with only 1 minute on the clock im not saying that a GM wouldn't find the moves to mate but your average player with time pressure will be somewhat surprised at your aggresive king moves.
Nxf7 is completely sound indeed.
Recently i have been playing bullet alot and it occurred to me how often people play the fried liver (or tunnel attack) but the problem is when they play it they don't fully understand why. they just play it with the book moves in mind i will post a few diagrams of where people are put of because it seems that you have fallen into a trap but because of aggresive play they do not know what to do.
