I use the same opening every time I play against a player for the first time, if he is rated atleast 1200. If he is lower, I sometimes use more aggresive play, than my standard opening. If I have used my opening one or more times againts a player, I would normaly try something else.
Anyway - my standard opening is a collection of moves, I may do them in different orders from game to game, so if you mean "same first move", it is not always (I have three "first move"-variations in my standard game).
Do you use the same opening when you start a game each time?
