DEBATE: What is best opening?
Tell me what's wrong with fiancietto in the french defense.
2. It is acceptable only it the Rubinstein french
The bishop is supposed to go to d7 OR in rare occasions to a6(but not via fianchetto)
In advance variation if you play b6 you can’t play Qb6. You can argue that you can build a queenside pawn pyramid which will be really hard to break, but…who cares? f4 + followup and ur king is dead

Barring the 4… b6 Winawer or (if it counts) Fort Knox Rubinstein, Black should essentially never be fianchettoing in the French Defense. In the Exchange, the LSB is better on g4, in the Advance the LSB is better either traded off in the Wade or useful as a very strong endgame piece in the Paulsen, and as far as I’m aware, b6 is rather passive but playable in the Tarrasch.
I always say when you really don't like 'em, give 'em the Bird!
Next time I play a game with my freinds, Im considering the bird opening PURELY so I can say that!
The best opening moves (and most popular) in a game of chess are 1. e4 (the King's Pawn Opening), 1. d4 (the Queen's Pawn Opening), 1. Nf3 (the Réti Opening), https://buyozempiconlineireland.org/
Scotch game is obviously best
I usually play the Göring Gambit after 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 exd4
I play e5 against e4 and Nf6 against d4
If I am playing against the French Defense, I will do the exchange variation to annoy people. 😈
If I am playing against the Caro-Kann Defense, I will also do the exchange variation.
If I am playing against the Sicilian Defense, I do 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5.
If I am playing against the Philidor Defense, I do Bb5.
If I am playing against the Petrov's Defense, I capture the free pawn.
If I am playing against the Alekhine's Defense, I kick the knight.
If I am playing against the Scandinavian Defense, I capture the pawn.

If I am playing against the Vienna Game, I do the Falkbeer Variation.
If I am playing against the Center Game, I capture the pawn.
