Does anyone have any experience or opinions about the below variations? Are they playable for black, or only good as a surprise weapon, or not even that?

1. d4 g6 2. c4 Bg7 3. e4 d6 4. Nc3 Nc6 5. d5 Nd4
1. d4 g6 2. c4 Bg7 3. e4 d6 4. Nc3 e5
1. d4 g6 2. c4 Bg7 3. e4 d6 4. Nc3 c6

1. d4 d6 2. c4 e5
1. d4 d6 2. Nf3 Bg4

And which of these two systems would you rather recommend as a "repertoire" against 1. d4?

Thanks

The only line which you mentioned above which I would consider to be absolutely sound is the first one: 1 d4 g6 2 c4 Bg7 3 e4 d6 4 Nc3 Nc6 5 d5 Nd4.  That is standard play in the Modern Defence.

1. d4 g6 2. c4 Bg7 3. e4 Nc6!? is also legit. Some followups:

4. d5 Nd4  Then on either 5. Be3 or 5. Ne2, 5... c5! saves the knight (dxc6 ep, dxc6)

 4. Nf3 d6 5. Nc3 Bg4

 4. Be3 d6 5. Nc3 e5 6. d5 Nce7

How are any of these "anti-d4?"  Are they supposed to intimidate White against playing d4 if he's seen you play one of these lines before?

As someone who likes to play d4, the response I hate seeing from black the most is f5.

How about 1. d4 b5?!

I have played this in some games as black and actually achieved a reasonable position when the opponent does not respond correctly, and the Computer Programs don't think the 1...b5 move is that horrible.

Maybe I'm missing something since I'm not that good with opening theory but why would white prefer 2 c4 over 2 e4? 2 e4 looks stronger to me.

Just an example I threw together, there's probably some better moves for both sides.

An early ...b5 idea is perfectly okay where white plays to fianchetto on the kings side. For example 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 e6 3.g3 b5!? Playing ...b5 on move one or where white will play e3 (or e4 even) you lose a tempo if you want to hang onto the b5 pawn. I would only use the early ...b5 idea where white has played g3.
