Caro-Kann Defense: Kingside Fianchetto Variation
Armatise

This variation of the Caro-Kann follows a kingside fianchetto. White needs to try to capture and threaten black's weak pawn on e4 to open up the position. Otherwise, this opening is recommended for positional players.

That's an interesting variation to the Sicilian, @RandomChessPlayer62.

Armatise

@EwingKlipSpringer that's an opening Martin should play.

Similarities between Fried Liver and my Petrov's Defense gambit

Mine:

Fried Liver:

Important moves are the ones I've marked with !?, !, !!, and ??.
The similarities are very clear!

There are only 3 differences: Order of moves, Nc6, and h6

I call my opening Cooked Liver due to the similarities with Fried Liver

Armatise

I agree with @gary_sorkin

Armatise

Also @RandomChessPlayer62, that's a really clever opening name you came up with. There should have been a cooked liver with a fried liver.

Armatise

Yes, @gary_sorkin

Also, are there any more openings for black that others will invent?
