It's me or nobody plays the evans gambit (one of the most underrated opening in the game)

For me I think that it's one of the best agressive opening and a lot of begining don't play the good move with black . I advice you to play that opening more often (it's sooo underated)

You'll never get it against me. 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6! I had a fool about a week ago play 3.Bc4?! and he paid the price for it. Black (myself) was in control the entire game, and ultimately won.

No Evan's Gambit thank you!

hum are you sure?

The Evans Gambit is pretty good. One problem is that there is no nice line against the Two Knights to pair with it.

3. Bc4 is actually not a bad move and I'm pretty sure the computer still says white has some advantage. White mostly gives away his advantage, but it's no joke.

edit: actually apparently computer says black has a -0.5 advantage and a slightly better score from it in master play (32% vs 29%). However some good players (2000+ blitz) have played it against me and nearly a half a percent of master games have gone that way, which may not seem like much lol but 126 people including Nigel Short played it for whatever reason. Maybe it is a bad move, but I'd hardly call someone a "fool" for playing it, especially if they prepared it.

I play the evan’s but when my opponent plays the evan’s I play the main line and they get confused bc they are used to Bc5
