Pyrenees Gambit: Who is the founder or named it?

What I know in Pyrenees, Pyrenees is a place between Spain and France.

I never heard a chess player with a name of Pyrenees, so I search in google about a chess events in Pyrenees but I fail to see a moves 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 b5 (Pyrenees Gambit) - correct me if I'm wrong.

I see game of Pyreness Gambit where Kasparov lost, is it mean this gambit was that strong. I had also list of all gambits  (almost all) but I miss this one (Pyreness Gambit), you can also check the list if something is still missing.

So I'm really curious about this gambit, who is the founder or just named it?

I found the game you are talking about but I also found some (German?) sites that listed "Kurjatko Gambit (1.d4 Sf6 2.c4 b5)". But at the site with Kasparov's simul loss to the Cowboy Indian Defense they seemed to be chatting about using the Kurjatko gambit as a counter to the Pyrenees Gambit.

Either it has another name or the Kurjatko is a counter gambit to the Pyrenees.

I googled the move order in English first then with Sf6 when I saw it. Too bad google doesn't penetrate databases.

Wow, thank you for the effort, it seems that this Pyrenees Gambit still a mystery to me and still amaze me by creating a history of beating Kasparov.

I also try to google it but I failed to find it... Cry

The earliest game I can find with 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 b5 is Bachtiar-Balinas, Manila 1977.  Other games include Karpov-Gloor, Zurich 1988 and Kasparov-Cotrina, Lima 1993.  It's been played once against me.  Wall-DVS, Internet 1998 went 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 b5 3.cxb5 a6 4.bxa6 Bxa6 5.Nc3 g6 6.Nf3 Bg7 7.e4 Bxf1 8.Kxf1 O-O 9.e5 and I eventually won.
