queen gambit
Ok I am still new to chess but and I have been wondering about this opening myself.
But I dont see how white gets its pawn back, can someone explain it? Can't black protect its pawn with b5?

Sure, the problem is, after 1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.e3 b5 4.a4, how does Black then protect the b5 pawn? Here are some sample lines... be sure to click the "Move List" button.
the queen gambit i have heard is very very good somebody please give examples of the first moves or a game that uses the queen gambit also please give defences against the queen gambit.
