The Alapin Dutch Defense

After d4 f5, I discovered a line that attacks the pawn but does not Gambit, Qd3, the Alapin Variation. Does anybody have a book that discusses this variation? If so, what is the "main line" of this variation?

The main line is 2...d5 and White has 'forced' Black into a Stonewall position - wich Black might have planned anyway.

You will also have to study 2...Nc6!? wich is rare, but have a great score and is liked by the engines. This is probably the reason you wont se many 2.Qd3 games anymore.

Practically every book on the Dutch covers the 2.Qd3 sideline. 2...e6 is the move that I've seen get the most coverage. Demuth does provide some coverage of 2...Nc6 in his book on the Leningrad.

Also, be prepared for deferred Dutch players like me!

1.d4 e6! Now, if 2.Qd3, Black has not committed to the Dutch - could play 2...Nf6 or 2...d5. If 2.c4, the 2...f5 and now 3.Qd3 is just ridiculous.
